Custodian

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Custodian, you will meticulously maintain common and office areas in a clean and orderly condition, directly contributing to a welcoming and safe environment at Dominican Oaks.

Every day you will perform a variety of cleaning duties, ensuring all assigned spaces meet our high standards of cleanliness, and consistently apply the Dominican Oaks philosophy in every task.

To be successful in this role, you will be reliable, detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate a commitment to supporting the mission and values of Dominican Oaks through your dedicated service.

• Performs general cleaning of common areas which includes carpet cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, and stocking supplies.
• Picks up and empties all resident trash and recycling, as well as trash in common areas.
• Stocks bathroom and cleaning supplies.
• Prepares vacant apartments for new residents.
• Sets up meeting spaces for use by various groups.
• Prepares schedule for carpet cleaning of all building areas and submits to supervisor each month.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Graduate or GED
• Six to nine months related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience
