Custodian

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Cleaning classrooms, washrooms, and hallways. Set up and operate all floor/carpet cleaning equipment. Maintain/operate traveling sprinklers, hoses, irrigation systems, lawn mowers, and snow removal equipment. Set up line markers, flags, hurdles, bleachers, and other equipment for school activities and building rentals. Perform snow removal, lawn care, and filter replacement. Must be flexible and able to work in an environment with many interruptions.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS:

The working hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (includes on-campus-only paid lunch) on Saturday during the school year. Summer hours will run from Monday through Friday contingent upon any Saturday events requiring custodial services, in which the schedule will shift to Tuesday through Saturday for that week. The starting rate for this position is $17.25 per hour.
