Job Summary: Under the direction of the Maintenance/Custodial Supervisor and Building Administrator, is responsible for providing a variety of services relating to the upkeep of buildings/grounds. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.

Special Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Daily cleaning of Operations and Transportation facilities;
  • Responsible for exterior secondary athletic areas including Memorial Stadium, Snohomish and Glacier Peak High Schools;
  • Back up District Courier as needed;
  • District wide snow and ice removal as needed;
  • Light groundskeeping;
  • Faciiity set up/take down for school and community events and/or facility use.

Salary Range: $30.92 - $35.02 per hour per the 2025-26 Snohomish School District Public School Employees Salary Schedule

Work Year: 8.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., except on Fridays from September through November, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. during football season, 12 months/year

Qualifications/Education and Experience:

  • One (1) year experience or training in custodial or related fields preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License. Must meet driver's abstract qualifications necessary to drive a district vehicle.
  • Maintain valid First Aid/CPR with AED certificate.
  • Bloodborne Pathogen Training, provided at time of hire.
  • Upon receiving a job offer, candidates must successfully complete a physical ability evaluation to ensure they can perform the essential job functions.
