This position is responsible for all work associated with cleaning and maintaining assigned physical facilities of the campus community.

Essential Functions
The following are the functions essential to performing this job.
- Provide cleaning services for campus facilities.
- Provide support to the Custodial Mission and Vision through the effective and efficient maintenance of the University physical properties an aesthetically pleasing manner.
Other Functions
Individuals in this job may be assigned one or more of the following tasks on a rotating or as-needed basis. - Provide support to Grounds and Maintenance during inclement weather.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualification Standards
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The individual in this job must possess these skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. - Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks of lifting, bending, reaching and climbing.
- Demonstrated competency in written and oral communications.
- Demonstrated knowledge in and ability to perform custodial services in a business and residential setting.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently operate equipment tools commonly used in custodial services.
Qualification Standards - Education: High school diploma or GED
- Successful experience: Experience in custodial related services in a school, hospital or hotel environment.
- Other preferences: Maintenance of a valid driver/s license and demonstrated ability to work in a high paced environment with minimum supervision.
