Custodian / Utilities / Inventory Specialist

Job Description and Duties
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, believes in showing up on time for work, provides other Team Members with assistance as needed in the kitchen and follows all sanitary and health-related protocols. Success in this role is measured by speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and attention to rotation and food safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Unloading and organizing dry goods, walk-in, and freezer items
- Prepping boxes for easy access (opened and ready for use)
- Rotating stock properly using FIFO (First In, First Out)
- Logging chicken in the Chicken Log
- Breaking down and compacting cardboard
- Completing truck validation via Signal and submitting credits as needed
- Maintaining Inventory
- Maintaining cleanliness of the outside of the restaurant - sweeping, changing trash, maintaining garden beds, etc.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the inside of the restaurant- cleaning windows, sweeping/mopping, changing trash, washing dishes, etc.
Shift Openings
Full and part-time positions available
Monday – Saturday
5am - 2pm
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work Fridays & Saturdays
- Must be 18+ years old
- Experience in facilities, custodial services and a fast-paced kitchen strongly preferred
- Must be friendly and outgoing, able to provide excellent customer service
- Must be able to work in a team environment and on your own
Must be physically fit and flexible and be able to:
- work on your feet for at least 5 hours at a time
- twist, turn, stoop, bend over and lift
- lift 60+ lbs
- walk while carrying heavy items, pushing trash carts, etc.
Salary and Compensation
This position offers compensation of $17-$19 per hour, depending on experience. Additional Chick-fil-A job perks may include restaurant discounts and scholarship opportunities.
