Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a custodian position at a manufacturing company in Walden NY. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $19.50 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Service, clean, and sanitize employee common areas, including breakrooms, restrooms, entryways, and other areas as required
Dust, clean, and sanitize various surfaces, including floors, mats, door handles, windows, mirrors, and other areas as required
Empty and dispose of trash receptacles
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas
Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
Mix water, detergents, or other cleaning solutions as needed, following safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations
Monitor and report any issues related to safety hazards, repairs, or maintenance needs; appropriately escalating high-risk and major repairs in a timely manner as necessary
Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
All other duties as needed

Able to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients
