Key Responsibilities
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and sanitation according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
- Empty trash containers throughout the facility and transport refuse to designated dumpsters
- Operate a riding floor sweeper and use push brooms to clean warehouse aisles and hard-to-reach areas
- Sweep between pallet locations, storage racks, and warehouse work areas
- Assist with the cleanup of damaged products and warehouse spills
- Mop and clean liquid spills to maintain a safe work environment
- Remove debris from warehouse floors, dock areas, and outdoor workspaces
- Dust and clean warehouse racking and storage areas
- Perform snow removal and apply salt to entrances and walkways during winter weather
- Conduct product audits and inventory checks as directed
- Complete and maintain sanitation and inspection logs
- Support warehouse operations and assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter
- Previous janitorial, custodial, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA standards
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
