We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Building Custodian. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while supporting daily operations. As you learn the business and demonstrate success, you'll have the opportunity to transition into a Warehouse Associate role and expand your skills within the operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and sanitation according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
  • Empty trash containers throughout the facility and transport refuse to designated dumpsters
  • Operate a riding floor sweeper and use push brooms to clean warehouse aisles and hard-to-reach areas
  • Sweep between pallet locations, storage racks, and warehouse work areas
  • Assist with the cleanup of damaged products and warehouse spills
  • Mop and clean liquid spills to maintain a safe work environment
  • Remove debris from warehouse floors, dock areas, and outdoor workspaces
  • Dust and clean warehouse racking and storage areas
  • Perform snow removal and apply salt to entrances and walkways during winter weather
  • Conduct product audits and inventory checks as directed
  • Complete and maintain sanitation and inspection logs
  • Support warehouse operations and assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA standards
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
