Custodian

The Wisconsin Heights Elementary School is seeking a custodian. The Custodian provides custodial and minor maintenance service in support of the district's educational process by handling a variety of work activities in association with district/school protocol and procedures and to maintain district building(s)/grounds in such manner so as to preserve them in a state of operating excellence.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILIITES:

• Full-time calendar year position.
• Performs general cleaning and related work as required.
• Operates and maintains school facilities in a safe, orderly manner and protect from fire, water and any other deterioration.
• Ability to bend and lift, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, and to climb and reach.
• Properly handle confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff and any other school-related issues.

Wisconsin Heights is situated just 20 minutes west of Madison, in the picturesque Driftless Area. Our district spans approximately 100 square miles, covering the Black Earth and Mazomanie region. This area is rich in recreational opportunities and steeped in history.
