We are seeking a Custom Cabinet Draftsperson / Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience turning design concepts into accurate technical drawings and production-ready plans for our shop and installation teams.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed cabinet shop drawings using Mozaik custom cabinet design software
Interpret architectural plans, designer specifications, and customer requirements.
Engineer cabinetry for production, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and manufacturability.
Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and shop staff to ensure designs meet quality standards and project timelines.
Maintain organized drawing files and update revisions as needed.
Problem-solve construction challenges and offer creative, functional solutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in custom cabinet drafting, engineering, or related millwork.
Proficiency in Mozaik, cabinet Vision, or similar software.
Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and hardware.
Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and technical specifications.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred:
Experience with high-end residential cabinetry projects.
Knowledge of CNC programming and optimization for production.
