Custom Cabinet Shop Manager / Estimator

Snohomish, WA

Our client, a growing custom cabinetry company is looking for an experienced Custom Cabinet Shop Manager / Estimator to oversee daily shop operations and help drive projects from initial estimate through final completion. This role is responsible for keeping production organized and on schedule while ensuring projects meet quality and client expectations.

The position combines shop management, estimating, production, and client communication, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys being hands-on and understands the full custom cabinetry process. The ideal candidate is comfortable working alongside the production team, operating CNC equipment, reviewing project details, and stepping in wherever needed to keep work moving.

This is an opportunity for a self-motivated, take-charge professional who can walk into a project, quickly understand what needs to happen, and get moving with minimal direction.

Custom Cabinet Shop Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily shop operations, workflow, scheduling, and production priorities.
  • Prepare estimates for custom cabinetry projects, including labor, materials, and hardware.
  • Coordinate projects from handoff through fabrication, assembly, and completion.
  • Lead cabinet makers, CNC operators, and assembly personnel.
  • Operate machinery and assist with hands-on production as needed.
  • Communicate with clients, designers, contractors, vendors, and project partners.
  • Review drawings and specifications and resolve production issues.
  • Maintain quality, efficiency, and a safe, organized shop environment.

Custom Cabinet Shop Manager Qualifications:

  • Experience with Mosaic and CNC cabinet machinery.
  • At least 5 years of experience in custom cabinetry, woodworking, millwork, or a related shop environment.
  • Experience estimating custom cabinetry or woodworking projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cabinet fabrication, materials, hardware, and production processes.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Self-starter who can jump into a project, take initiative, and get moving.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing production, estimating, and team leadership.
