As a Custom Protection Officer Site Patrol in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and support visitor and/or delivery processing in accordance with location policies.
• Observe food and beverage location operations for security-related concerns such as unsecured doors, restricted area access issues, and/or suspicious activity, and report findings promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess one or more of the following:

• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone

• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field

• Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies

• A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch

• Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
