Our automotive client is looking for a service technician to work on custom small-engine vehicles. The service technician will be responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, performing repairs, and explaining services to the customers. A high level of customer service is expected in this role.
Starting Pay: $18.00 - 20.00/hour DOE (review at 6 & 12 months)
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble and repair small-engine specialty vehicles.
Assist customers in sales, service, and parts.
Remove and replace engine components, vehicle bodies, parts, and accessories.
Perform preventative and regular maintenance.
Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
Explain diagnostic test results to customers.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record/Valid Driver’s License.
Mechanically inclined.
Ability to multitask & problem solve.
Able to work 40+ hours a week especially in busy season (May-Aug).
Basic electrical/wiring experience preferred.
Volt meter experience preferred.
