We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and creative Permanent Custom Shop Manager to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This position will oversee our custom shop, specializing in embroidery, heat transfer production, and apparel production. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled craftsmen and artisans, ensuring high-quality production standards, and meeting customer specifications. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to apply their skills in a unique, creative environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the custom shop, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
2. Lead, mentor, and train a team of skilled artisans and craftsmen in embroidery, heat transfer, and apparel production.
3. Ensure high-quality standards are met in all custom orders, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
4. Work closely with clients to understand their custom needs, translating these into detailed production specifications.
5. Monitor and manage inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring optimal levels are maintained.
6. Continuously seek to improve processes and procedures within the shop, driving innovation and efficiency.
7. Liaise with other departments within the company to ensure seamless integration of custom orders into the broader production schedule.
8. Manage the custom shop budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
9. Stay updated with latest trends and techniques in embroidery, heat transfer, and apparel production to ensure our custom shop remains at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in embroidery, heat transfer production, and apparel production.
3. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and motivate a team.
4. Strong client-service orientation, with excellent communication skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage a budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality standards.
8. Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including design and production software.
9. A deep understanding of materials and equipment used in embroidery, heat transfer, and apparel production.
10. A passion for craftsmanship, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
