Customer Account Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing logistics and distribution operation in Brownsburg, IN to identify a Customer Account Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or warehouse operations who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Position Overview
The Customer Account Manager acts as the key point of contact between clients and a busy 3PL warehouse operation. This role ensures accurate execution of orders, strong customer communication, and overall service excellence. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with operations, transportation, and inventory teams to support day-to-day account needs.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
Build strong relationships through proactive communication and follow-up
Ensure customer expectations and service requirements are clearly understood and met
Address and resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
Logistics & Operations Coordination
Coordinate daily activities including:
Inbound receiving
Inventory management
Order fulfillment and shipping
Returns processing
Partner closely with warehouse, transportation, and inventory teams
Ensure customer-specific processes and SOPs are followed accurately
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Support ongoing efforts to improve customer satisfaction and account performance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in:
Customer service
Account management
Logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
Experience in a 3PL, distribution center, or transportation environment strongly preferred
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting
