Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Customer Account Representative for a new opportunity with our client, a well-established manufacturing company with offices in the Triad. The Customer Account Representative is responsible for supporting customer relationships by managing orders, responding to inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely account processing. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers and internal teams to deliver a high level of service and support.Key ResponsibilitiesReview product availability and process internal and customer purchase orders.Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.Prepare and process quotations, sales orders, and invoices with accuracy and efficiency.Assist customers with quote requests, order status updates, billing inquiries, and general account support.Provide necessary documentation and classification information for shipments as required.Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, product availability, and outstanding account items.Maintain and update customer account information and transaction records in company systems.Support database management related to projects, orders, and customer records.Process service or repair-related orders and associated documentation as needed.Assist with inventory-related tasks and coordination when required.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer expectations and delivery commitments are met.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of two years of experience in customer service or administrative support.Experience with order processing, invoicing, and account management preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) is a plus.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
