The Role
High-volume call center role supporting families with financial assistance programs (SNAP, summer food benefits). First point of contact for inbound inquiries.
What You'll Do
Answer calls, resolve questions on applications and benefits
Log interactions accurately in tracking systems
Escalate issues as needed; maintain program knowledge
Meet call volume, quality, and accuracy metrics
What You Need
HS diploma or GED
6+ months call center or customer service experience
35+ WPM typing speed
Basic MS Office & data entry skills
Professional, empathetic, and calm under pressure
Nice to Have
Associate's degree
Experience with Medicaid, CHIP, or public assistance
Bilingual skills
Work Environment
Fully onsite in East Hartford, CT
40 hours/week, standard business hours
Background check & drug screen required
