About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Manufacturing Customer Support Professional for a company in Ashby, MN. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for manufacturing customers and suppliers while helping coordinate orders, logistics, and communication across teams. 90% of the position is communication via email and and order processing, this role is the point of contact between customers, sales and the supply chain team. What You’ll Do as a Customer Care Representative:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through daily communication
  • Provide exceptional customer service with proactive follow-up and issue resolution
  • Coordinate needs between customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal operations teams
  • Manage purchase orders and sales orders based on production schedules
  • Communicate logistics and supply chain updates to production and warehouse teams
  • Assist with booking carriers, scheduling appointments, and monitoring freight activity
  • Identify and escalate customer concerns and opportunities to internal teams

What You Need to Bring to the Customer Care Representative Role:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in supply chain and manufacturing customer service is required 
  • Previous customer service, administrative, or order management experience
  • Proven ERP experience 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and order entry platforms
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and teams
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and/or drug screen, if required
