Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Manufacturing Customer Support Professional for a company in Ashby, MN. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for manufacturing customers and suppliers while helping coordinate orders, logistics, and communication across teams. 90% of the position is communication via email and and order processing, this role is the point of contact between customers, sales and the supply chain team. Read below for more information!What You’ll Do as a Customer Care Representative:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through daily communication
Provide exceptional customer service with proactive follow-up and issue resolution
Coordinate needs between customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal operations teams
Manage purchase orders and sales orders based on production schedules
Communicate logistics and supply chain updates to production and warehouse teams
Assist with booking carriers, scheduling appointments, and monitoring freight activity
Identify and escalate customer concerns and opportunities to internal teams
What You Need to Bring to the Customer Care Representative Role:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in supply chain and manufacturing customer service is required
Previous customer service, administrative, or order management experience
Proven ERP experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with basic computer systems and order entry platforms
Ability to collaborate across departments and teams
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and/or drug screen, if required
