A growing pharmaceutical company in Hermitage, TN is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for customers. This role is responsible for handling inbound calls, processing orders, answering customer questions, and resolving issues related to orders and shipments.
This is not a sales position. The focus is on delivering excellent customer service, supporting customer needs, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Care Specialist Compensation:
- Temp-to-hire opportunity
- Starting pay of $17.00 per hour
- Quarterly bonus program with annual earnings potential of approximately $3,000 to $5,000
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Customer Care Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound customer calls regarding orders, inventory availability, products, and account questions
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone and email communication
- Assist customers with order status updates and product availability requests
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns related to delayed or missing shipments
- Research issues and coordinate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems
- Support internal teams by providing timely information and order updates
- Learn and utilize company software platforms and processes
- Deliver professional and courteous customer service with every interaction
Customer Care Specialist Qualifications for the Customer Care Specialist
- Prior customer service, call center, order entry, administrative support, or related experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and telephone skills
- Professional written communication and email correspondence skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Comfort learning new software and internal systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred
- Ability to remain professional and solution-focused when handling customer concerns
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Stable work history and strong attendance record preferred
