The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven Customer Engagement Specialist to join a growing sales organization supporting the Utah and Idaho territory. This is a field-based B2B sales and prospecting role designed for a competitive sales professional who enjoys building relationships, opening doors, and creating new business opportunities.

This is not a traditional inside sales position. The successful candidate will spend significant time prospecting in the field, identifying potential customers, navigating gatekeepers, initiating conversations with decision-makers, and developing qualified opportunities for senior sales representatives.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct proactive field-based B2B prospecting and cold calling throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify and engage physicians, medical practices, medspas, aesthetic practices, and other prospective customers.
• Generate new opportunities through self-directed prospecting and territory development.
• Re-engage existing customers to identify potential expansion, upgrade, or replacement opportunities.
• Navigate gatekeepers and confidently connect with key decision-makers.
• Introduce a portfolio of advanced aesthetic technology solutions and identify customer interest, needs, and timing.
• Qualify opportunities based on decision-maker access, business needs, timing, budget, and purchase intent.
• Hand qualified opportunities to senior sales representatives for demonstrations and closing.
• Maintain accurate prospecting activity, follow-up history, and opportunity details within Salesforce or a similar CRM.
• Maintain consistent activity levels and follow-up cadences to ensure opportunities continue progressing.
• Partner with sales leadership to improve prospecting strategies, messaging, targeting, and qualification.

What We’re Looking For

• Approximately 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within an outbound, quota-driven environment.
• Demonstrated success with outside sales, field prospecting, and cold calling.
• A strong hunter mentality and willingness to generate opportunities from the ground up.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Comfortable approaching new businesses and initiating conversations without a prior relationship.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Competitive, resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable handling rejection.
• Coachable with a desire to continuously improve and develop professionally.
• Strong organization and territory-management skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM is preferred.
• Experience selling a tangible product or solution is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Experience in highly disciplined field-sales environments such as payroll/HCM, business services, uniforms/facility services, office technology, equipment, medical technology, or similar B2B industries can translate particularly well to this opportunity.
