Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Master Representative to support customer master data operations in a hybrid position based in Malvern, PA.
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely creation of new customer accounts, maintenance and modification of existing customer records, data quality, reporting, and communication with internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has previous data management or customer master data experience and is comfortable working within SAP or another ERP system. Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to follow direction are particularly important.
Previous experience working directly with data and data management is required, while Excel skills are considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new customer accounts and maintain existing customer records.
- Process customer master data changes accurately and within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
- Review account setups to ensure required data fields are complete and accurate.
- Communicate completed requests, account changes, and rejected requests to appropriate stakeholders.
- Perform customer master transactions within SAP or another ERP platform.
- Maintain accurate and consistent master data across systems.
- Assist with daily and recurring Customer Master Data reporting.
- Track and report customer master activity and performance metrics.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word to support reporting and daily operations.
- Research and resolve customer master data discrepancies.
- Work with internal stakeholders to obtain missing or corrected account information.
- Support special projects involving customer data, reporting, output records, and general data fields.
- Maintain established accuracy, productivity, and SLA standards.
- Support continuous improvement of data-management and business processes.
The requisition specifically identifies account creation/changes, SLA adherence, reporting, SAP/ERP transactions, Microsoft Office, organization, and data accuracy as core responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Previous data management experience required.
- Previous Customer Master Data, Master Data Management, customer account maintenance, or similar data experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and direction.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and meet established deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Excel skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal teams.
