We are partnering with a growing industrial manufacturing organization to hire a Customer Order & Installation Coordinator for its York, SC operations hub.
This is much more than a traditional customer service position. You will own the coordination of customer orders from initial entry through installation, serving as the connection between customers, operations, service teams, and other internal departments.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple orders and schedules simultaneously, and has hands-on experience working in NetSuite. NetSuite experience is required for consideration.
Receive, review, and process incoming customer orders within NetSuite.
Ensure order information, customer details, pricing, and supporting documentation are entered accurately and completely.
Coordinate equipment installations from order through completion, including scheduling installation dates and confirming customer/site readiness.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, scheduling, installation updates, and changes.
Partner closely with operations, service, accounting, and other internal teams to keep orders and installations moving forward.
Monitor open orders and installation schedules and proactively follow up on delays, missing information, or potential issues.
Maintain accurate and complete order, customer, and installation records within NetSuite.
Research and resolve discrepancies involving orders, schedules, documentation, or customer information.
Manage a high volume of communication through phone and email while providing responsive, professional customer service.
Balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Hands-on NetSuite experience is required, ideally involving order entry, sales orders, order management, customer records, or similar functions.
Previous experience in order management, order coordination, customer operations, installation coordination, service coordination, or a related role.
Experience coordinating installations, field service appointments, deliveries, or other schedule-driven customer activities.
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy with data entry and record management.
Ability to manage multiple customer orders, schedules, and priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify missing or inaccurate information before it creates downstream issues.
Professional and confident written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working across multiple systems and learning new processes.
Ability to work onsite in York, SC five days per week.
Manufacturing, industrial equipment, distribution, logistics, or other product-based business experience.
Experience working closely with operations, field service, installation, or accounting teams.
Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency.
Experience working through a NetSuite implementation, migration, or process change is a plus.
This is an opportunity to join a growing industrial organization where you will have visibility across the entire customer order and installation process. Rather than handling repetitive customer service inquiries, you'll play a key role in keeping orders accurate, installations organized, and customers informed from start to finish.
