Customer Sales Analyst, Target

Job Description

The Customer Sales Analyst is a key support role on the Target team. This person turns data into actionable insights, supports customer selling stories, and helps the team execute core business routines with accuracy and speed. This position will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, eCommerce, and supply chain to ensure delivery.
 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

· Build and maintain Excel and Power BI – based trackers to share weekly and monthly performance data and trends

· Analyze sales, category, consumer, and merchandising data to identify business insights and opportunities

· Build presentations and selling materials for internal and external audiences

· Support customer-specific selling stories and business reviews

· Identify key volume drivers, risks, and opportunities, and communicate implications clearly

· Evaluate merchandising events and provide points of view on execution, compliance, consumption, and value

· Own core routines including line review support, item setup, sample coordination, post-event tracking, performance updates, and internal communications

Expected Experience & Required Skills

· Strong Excel skills, including models, trackers, and analysis across multiple data sources

· Experience in CPG or retail critical functions (marketing, sales, category management, insights)

· Understanding of Category Management and customer business processes

· Experience with syndicated POS and panel data

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

· Ability to manage priorities and communicate clearly with leadership

· Power BI experience is a plus

· Ownership mindset: Proactive approach to delivering insights and updates that support the growth of the kraft Heinz business at Target

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is a hybrid role and is considered a normal office environment with limited travel or visits to external locations; 3 days per week in Office.

Additionally, this role requires the ability to work a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations

· Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$77,800.00 - $97,300.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
