Job Title: Customer Service Representative/Accounting Clerk

Position Overview
Display Supply & Lighting, Inc. is seeking an organized, customer-focused Customer Service Representative who excels in accurate data entry and managing customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with Sage BusinessWorks ERP is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Enter and update customer orders, quotes, and account information with a high degree of accuracy.
- Use Sage BusinessWorks ERP to process orders, check inventory, generate invoices, and track shipments across multiple companies within the organization.
- Provide product information, pricing, and order status updates to customers and internal staff.
- Resolve customer issues, including order discrepancies, billing questions, and shipment concerns.
- Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and management teams to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date customer records and documentation.
- Work with the Controller to provide daily assistance and reporting as required.
- Support additional administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service or inside sales support experience (B2B preferred).
- Strong, accurate data entry and typing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel).
- Ability to problem-solve and de-escalate customer issues professionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Sage BusinessWorks ERP or another ERP/order-processing system.
- Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or small-business environment.
- Familiarity with basic order logistics (inventory, shipping, invoicing).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of financial intricacies & reports.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay / Hourly Rate
- Range: $17 - $24 per hour (Experience and qualifications dependent)
- Overtime may be requested, from time to time, for project assistance.
- Annual bonus potential based upon meeting KPIs
