Matt Barczyk Allstate Agency is looking for a Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team in Erie, PA. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, and helping customers find insurance solutions that fit their needs.


You don't have to come from an insurance background to be successful. We're open to candidates with insurance experience as well as those coming from customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, or other people-focused roles.


The most important thing is that you're easy to talk to, comfortable having conversations, organized, and willing to put in the effort to follow up and build relationships.


What You'll Do

• Connect with new and existing customers by phone and in person.
• Have meaningful conversations to understand customers' needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
• Follow up with leads and prospective customers consistently.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Assist customers with policy questions, changes, and service needs.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional coverage when appropriate.
• Keep customer information, follow-ups, and tasks organized.
• Work toward individual and agency sales goals.

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, approachable personality and strong communication skills.
• Insurance experience is welcome, but not required.
• Sales experience is helpful, but a traditional sales background is not necessary.
• Customer service experience is a plus — servers, tellers, retail professionals, and other people-focused candidates are encouraged to apply!
• Comfortable talking with people and making phone calls.
• Persistent with follow-up and willing to make outbound calls.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated, coachable, and motivated to grow.
• Willingness to obtain an insurance license if needed.
