We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant job in Whitsett, NC. This is a fully on-site, temp to hire position. In this role you are supporting the spare parts team by entering customer orders into SAP, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers and internal departments. This role requires strong attention to detail! We are ideally looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience with order entry and manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
Process customer spare parts orders from receipt through shipment.
Enter and maintain order information in ERP and order management systems.
Provide order confirmations, pricing, availability, and shipping updates to customers.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding spare parts orders and deliveries.
Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain customer records, order documentation, and filing systems.
Perform administrative tasks to support the Spare Parts department.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
At least 2 years of customer service, order processing, or administrative support experience.
Experience working with SAP preferred, ERP systems experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Strong data entry and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
