Seeking an energetic Customer Service Associate for our Philadelphia location! Come join our team! Uniform Gear services public service workers throughout the Philadelphia area, including Police, Fire, Ems, Transportation, Healthcare, Maintenance, and Security.  This is a part time position. Hours will be between Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm.

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation. 

Responsibilities 

• Greet each customer with a smile and assist while they are shopping
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
• Receive inventory, tag, and put on shelf
• Organize shelves to ensure inventory is neatly folded and in size order
• Count stock to check inventory
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
• Willingness to work well in a team environment
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
• Must be Available Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm
• Must be able to stand for entire shift
• Must be able to take one meal period per 8 hour shift
• Must be able to communicate verbally on the phone 
• Must be able to use computer and POS system
• Must be able to count
• Must work on site
• Must be able to lift up to 50-pound boxes
• Climbing small ladder, bending, reaching, and squatting is required
• Must be able to read and comprehend written/verbal orders 
• Must have held a sales associate position for 2-3 years.
