Customer Service Associate -  Livestream Shopping Events

• Location: In-Office – Schaumburg, IL
• Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
• Shift: 1st Shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Schedule: Rotating days off (weekend availability required based on rotation)

At The Heartland Roadshow, we operate in the precious metals industry. We are a fast-growing leader in live-action sales, specializing in jewelry and coins. We are expanding our digital presence and looking for energetic, outgoing, and talkative individuals to join our team for our livestream shopping events on platforms like Whatnot and TikTok.

Job Summary

Are you outgoing, talkative, and looking for a career that isn’t a typical desk job? We are seeking 1st Shift Customer Service Associate -  Livestream Shopping Events to be the voice of our live online events. You will drive sales by presenting products, interacting with a live audience, and creating an upbeat, fun shopping experience. 

No Experience Necessary! We provide full training for candidates with the right personality and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in live sales events on platforms such as Whatnot and TikTok.
• Present products in an engaging, persuasive, and high-energy manner.
   
• Interact with live viewers, answer questions, and encourage purchasing activity.
• Create urgency and excitement to maximize sales during live events.
• Prepare products for live shows (sorting, organizing, light research).
• Maintain organization and accuracy when handling inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to improve show performance and sales strategy.
• Assist with other online sales channels (e.g., eBay) as needed

Qualifications

Required

• Outgoing personality and comfort engaging with an audience verbally.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain a lively conversation.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, live environment.
• Reliable with a consistent work history.

Preferred

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or other people-oriented roles.
• Experience selling jewelry, coins, or collectibles.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., eBay).

Schedule & Work Location Details

• Work Location: In-person - Schaumburg, IL
• Hours: 1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Schedule Pattern: Full-time role with a rotating schedule for days off. Candidates must have the flexibilty to work weekend days when scheduled within the rotation to support business coverage.
