Customer Service Associate

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing customers with courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service. The position operates an assigned cash register, processes sales, and assists customers with their needs. Customer Service Associates also support various store departments, including store upkeep and stocking, as directed by management. This role helps create a positive customer experience while supporting daily store operations.

• Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, courteous service.
• Assist customers with locating products and answering questions.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and basic customer concerns.
• Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have at least 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic math, cash-handling, and POS system skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
