Job Summary:
We're hiring motivated Customer Service Representatives to support a major credit card portfolio. In this role, you'll help customers navigate account questions while working collaboratively to resolve past-due balances - all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Pay rate: $21 per hour
Start Date: April 27, 2026
Work Setting: Onsite at our Charlotte Call Center
What You'll Do:
- Connect with customers via inbound and outbound calls
- Resolve account inquiries and explain payment options
- Negotiate payment arrangements and secure commitments
- Carefully review account details to ensure accuracy
- Document conversations clearly and thoroughly
- Meet performance goals in quality, compliance, and recovery
What Makes You a Great Fit:
1+ year of customer service, collections, or call center experience
Strong attention to detail - you don't miss the small stuff
Confident negotiation skills with a solutions-focused mindset
Genuine empathy and professionalism in sensitive conversations - Ability to stay calm, positive, and goal-driven, flexibility to work any shift, including nights and especially weekends.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma, G.E.D., Trade/Vocational School certificate or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Speak, listen, type and/or sit for extended periods of time.
