Customer Service Coordinator

Burnett is currently partnering with a multinational business-to-business (B2B) giant who has a location in Houston. They are driving the sustainability revolution in heavy industry through advanced material science! Currently, they are looking to add top talent in their Customer Service Department. These are Temp-to-Hire roles that are starting immediately for the perfect candidates! 

The Customer Service Coordinator manages customer inquiries, orders, complaints, and general questions and concerns.  They also coordinate with customers on lead times and product availability.

Detailed Duties:

• Answers customer inquiries and general questions.
• Works with Account Managers to handle customer issues and customer complaints.
• Assists manufacturing with production planning through communication with our customers regarding future material needs, product availability, and forecasts.
• Monitors late shipments for the Vice President, Supply Chain.
• Coordinates early shipment authorizations to ensure customer orders meet delivery schedules.
• Communicates with Shipping, Receiving, and Quality Control to coordinate information needed for orders.
• Records and processes customer shipping documentation. 
• Maintains a safe working environment for themselves and others.
• Actively exhibits leadership capabilities in all aspects of their work.

Qualifications: 

• 2-3 years of Customer Service experience in a heavy Call/Email environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in manufacturing/supply chain/shipping/receiving/etc support
• Strong computer and data entry skills

Location, Hours, Salary, etc.: 

• Role is 100% onsite in Northwest Houston (77377 zip)
• Parking provided
• Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Pay Rate is $25/hr while temp
• Raise plus full benefits once it goes perm
