As a Customer Service Intern, you will support our team in delivering exceptional service to our valued retail customers. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, where you will assist with customer inquiries, order processing, and problem resolution.

You will gain exposure to internal systems, cross-functional collaboration, and day-to-day customer service operations, while building strong communication and organizational skills.

M-F, day shift (40hrs) in our Long Island, NY (Bethpage) office location for the summer. 

Compensation for this position is $18/hour. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in handling inbound customer inquiries and determining appropriate next steps
  • Assist with order entry and processing using internal systems
  • Provide customers with basic pricing, product, and delivery information
  • Collaborate with internal departments to help resolve customer questions and concerns
  • Serve as a point of support between customers and the sales team
  • Participate in outbound communications to update customers on promotions and product availability
  • Assist customers with product selection based on their needs
  • Utilize internal tools to check product availability and recommend alternatives
  • Help investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies or order issues
  • Support documentation efforts, including proof of delivery and internal records
  • Assist with sample orders and follow up with customers as directed
  • Gain exposure to internal systems (e.g., WLS) and support basic data entry and inventory-related tasks

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a high school (senior year) or college/university program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Interest in customer service, sales support, or business operations
