Customer Service Lead

JSG is recruiting for a Customer Service Lead for client in Hicksville NY
What You’ll Do:
As a Customer Service Lead, you will act as the go-to expert for our customer service processes, providing guidance and support to fellow representatives. You’ll interact directly with customers to resolve concerns, answer questions, and ensure their needs are exceeded with professionalism and empathy.
Please note the team works a 9/80 schedule, working 8 nine hour days, 1 eight hour day and every other Friday off

Pay $25/hour to $30/hour

Required Skills:

• Excellent decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional conflict resolution abilities and professionalism on the phone
• Experience using ERP systems (Visual or similar) for order processing and data management
• Proven ability to support continuous process improvement and resolve complex customer issues

Nice to Have Skills:

• Inside sales experience
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Previous experience as a team lead, mentor, or subject matter expert in customer service

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years in a customer service environment, with leadership or mentoring experience

Other Requirements:

• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Prior experience working in an environment that emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
