## What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities)
In this role, you will act as the vital link between shippers, carriers, and internal operations, managing a high volume of inbound and outbound communication. Your day-to-day will include:
- Answering inbound calls and emails from clients and transportation partners with professionalism and urgency.
- Tracking and tracing shipments using multiple internal systems and resources to provide real-time status updates.
- Proactively resolving supply chain disruptions, transit delays, and customer complaints to ensure on-time delivery.
- Leveraging inside sales skills to provide clients with rate quotes, promote additional logistics services, and maximize account value.
- Data management: Accurately entering shipment details, updating the Transportation Management System (TMS), and completing daily check-call logs.
- Identifying and escalating high-priority freight or carrier issues to the operations management team when necessary.
## What You Bring to the Table (Requirements)
We are looking for a fast learner who can handle the dynamic pace of logistics. The ideal match includes: - Experience: At least 1+ years of customer service experience within a call center, logistics, or dispatch environment.
- Sales Savvy: Comfortable pitching services, quoting rates, or up-selling over the phone.
- Tech-Skills: Strong data entry, fast typing, and the ability to comfortably navigate multiple screens and logistics/TMS software.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, paired with strong active listening and negotiation skills.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Background: Must be 18 years of age or older and willing to undergo a criminal background check and drug screen.
