Customer Service Manager
Salary: $65,000–$85,000 (BOE)

Position Overview
The Customer Service Manager is a hands-on role responsible for managing all aspects of customer interactions and order execution within a manufacturing environment. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating internally across departments to resolve issues, fulfill requests, and ensure a high level of service. The role also leads daily customer service operations while directly supporting order entry, invoicing, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customers (excluding key corporate-managed accounts), managing inquiries related to orders, QA, R&D, billing, pricing, and product requests
- Oversee and actively participate in the full order lifecycle, including order entry, invoicing, and ensuring accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance to resolve issues and communicate updates back to customers
- Lead and support a small customer service team (2 direct reports) while driving process improvements and maintaining high service standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships independently and act as a central point of contact
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Experience with order management/ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
