Job Title: Customer Service/Order Management Specialist
Location: Farmingdale, NY (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a reliable, high-energy professional to join our team in a fast-paced customer support and order management role focused on physical products and parts (NOT services). This is a high-volume, phone-heavy position responsible for providing excellent customer support via phone and email while managing orders, inventory inquiries, returns, and related processes in an ERP/CRM environment.
What You Do:
- Comfortable in a high-volume phone environment with heavy multitasking and frequent task-switching throughout the day.
- Strong customer service skills, including:
- Giving accurate price and availability information to customers over the phone and via email.
- Answering questions about order status, availability, returns, and general product/support inquiries.
- Very comfortable with computers and technology; able to quickly learn and adapt to new programs and systems with minimal training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, transaction-heavy setting.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or distribution/wholesale environment working with physical products or parts (service-based roles or industries do not qualify).
- Proven experience processing high-volume customer orders, including creating and managing Sales Orders and Purchase Orders.
- Familiarity with Open Order Reports and regular use of them in daily workflow.
- Direct experience utilizing an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar) and/or a CRM platform.
- Experience handling customer returns (RMA process).
- Experience performing inventory counts and cycle counts.
