Handle, review, and administer Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and/or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) claims in compliance with federal and state regulatory and/or company plan requirements.
Establish FMLA/ADA workflow procedures and evaluate against appropriate leave plans to make initial claim decisions.
Complete eligibility decisions during intake calls, gather pertinent data from employees or other supporting systems, and perform leave-ups as required, including recertification of health condition, intermittent claim tracking, and RTW confirmation.
Update systems to accurately reflect leave status and ensure appropriate diary documentation exists.
Requirements:
High school diploma.
Minimum one year of experience in Absence Management Claims.
Experience with a strong customer satisfaction focus and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of the ADA/AMS process and background as to what’s required.
Strong customer service skills are a must.
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum three years of FMLA/ADA claims knowledge of process and procedures.
