Customer Service & Data Entry Associate
- Core business hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM CST
- Weekly schedule assigned by leadership team

Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service & Data Entry Associate to support a fast-paced, multi-channel customer support environment. This role involves a combination of data entry, customer service, order processing, and light retail support.
The position supports both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) customers across multiple product lines, including optical and specialty retail products.
In this role, you will assist customers with product selection and purchasing, process orders, resolve issues, and ensure accurate recordkeeping and exceptional service delivery.
Some responsibilities will also include in-person customer interaction in a retail/pro shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Order Support
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Process incoming orders, web orders, prebooks, and backorders
- Handle warranty requests and return merchandise authorizations (RMA)
- Resolve shipping issues and order discrepancies
- Support both B2B and B2C customer accounts
- Assist with account verification and order approval processes
- Maintain accurate customer and dealer records
Data Entry & Administrative Support
- Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks
- Maintain and update customer databases and records
- File and organize warranty and compliance documentation
- Support special projects as assigned
- Assist in verifying account balances and order statuses
Retail / Pro Shop Support (as needed)
- Greet customers in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and accessories
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs
- Educate customers on product features and options
- Process transactions using POS systems
- Open and close store operations following procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and presentable displays
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal departments to resolve customer issues
- Provide backup support to other customer service teams
- Adapt to rotating assignments between email, phone, and in-person support
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–3 years of customer service experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable working on phones for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Problem-solving mindset with proactive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Team-oriented and highly reliable
