Title: EXPORT Customer Service Rep
Location: Houston, TX 77058
Duration: 5 months
Schedule: Monday through Friday on site

Pay rate: $34.00/hr on W2

This person will be responsible for:
Work closely with other Export CSRs and process purchase orders from foreign Agents, customers or other Kuraray entities outside of the US.
They will be expected to communicate effectively and efficiently with freight forwarders, warehouses, and carriers for the shipments.
They must be detail oriented, be able to multitask, and be able to accurately enter the data from purchase order into our system to create the sales orders.
They will be expected to read the order and prepare the shipment for current order/pallets/ shipment procedure.
They will be expected to monitor, track and trace and completely manage these orders and keep key personnel informed of each order status.
The position will involve heavy data entry and transactional workload that could fluctuate daily, so they must have great organizational skills.
They will be expected to track and trace export containers and monitor shipments with the tools we have available to us.
There will be a sense of urgency to this process and the information.

The expectations for the EXPORT Customer Service Rep position will be as follows:
40-hour work week- Monday through Friday on site - in office. Please note - the address states Houston, TX but this office is actually in the Clear Lake Area - very close to University of Houston Clear Lake Campus, and the Bay Port Industrial area.
Must have SAP experience and be able to work with Microsoft office systems.
This person should be comfortable with moderate level Excel use.

Must have background knowledge of inventory process and product management, and must have experience with distribution, detailed order entry and shipping.
We expect that this candidate will have customer service skills, be organized, able to multitask, and be people oriented.
They must be detail oriented, be able to multitask, and be able to accurately enter the data from purchase order into our system to create the sales orders.


This person should have great communication skills, as they will be communicating with all levels of colleagues and multiple departments within our company.

We request this person to be very knowledgeable with the exporting process and be experienced with Inco Terms 2020.

We also request this person to have experience in shipping and distribution, and the overall supply chain and exporting process from the US.

In addition, we would prefer this person to have basic accounting knowledge and be able to contribute in a corporate setting.
