Description

Are you looking to start or grow your career in customer service with a stable manufacturing company? The Peggs Company is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative I to join our team. THIS IS A TEMP TO PERM POSITION.

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers while helping process orders, support billing activities, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced office environment, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

What You'll Do
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service by phone and email
  • Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department
  • Process customer purchase orders and enter orders into company systems
  • Maintain accurate customer records and order information
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and shipping documentation
  • Track customer orders and provide status updates
  • Communicate with Production, Shipping, Sales, Service, and Accounting to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Perform filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks
  • Support daily office operations and other projects as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Order processing up to 80+ orders per day
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to learn ERP and business software, including Sage and Corrigo
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
