A large logistics company in Metairie is seeking a Logistics - Customer Service Representative to work in one of their departments.

Duties of the Logistics Customer Service Rep include but are not limited to:
Assist with processing freight forwarding documentation for export shipments (bills of lading, country of origin, etc.)
Answer phone calls and make outbound calls to clients
Receive instructions for each assigned client
Enter client information into database
Work with customs and assist with paperwork regarding cargo
Issue instructions for container pickups
Coordinate deliveries
Receive updates from operations on process of pickups
Review invoice information and send to accounting
Track and trace other shipments
Requirements of the Logistics Customer Service Rep:
2 years of customer service experience
Experience in logistics, transportation, or import/export preferred
High School Diploma required Bachelor's Degree preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel (will be tested)
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Able to establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships
