Customer Service Representative (Foam Manufacturing)
Location: Mt. Airy, NC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support operations in a foam manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing customer orders, handling inquiries and complaints, and ensuring accurate order processing while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders accurately, including data entry and verification
  • Maintain customer records, order details, and transaction history in CRM/ERP systems
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping
  • Handle freight scheduling, rate quotes, and delivery or damage claims
  • Set up new customer accounts and product items as needed
  • Assist with payment processing and account inquiries
  • Perform general administrative tasks, reporting, and documentation
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of customer service or order entry experience preferred
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and email tools
