This role serves as a critical link between customers, sales, warehouse operations, and logistics teams. Responsibilities include order entry, customer support, inventory management, freight scheduling, reconciliation, returned goods processing, pricing quotes, and administrative support.

What You'll Do

Customer Service & Order Processing

• Answer incoming customer calls and emails professionally
• Receive, enter, and process customer orders accurately
• Verify customer information, product specifications, and order details
• Review orders for completeness and accuracy
• Provide order status updates and customer support
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns whenever possible during the first interaction

Account & Administrative Support

• Create and maintain customer accounts and product records
• File and maintain order documentation and records
• Generate reports and provide support to management
• Process mail, correspondence, and departmental documentation
• Assist with audits and inventory-related activities

Logistics & Inventory Management

• Coordinate freight scheduling and shipping arrangements
• Obtain freight quotes and manage transportation needs
• Handle returned goods and customer claims
• Support inventory tracking and reconciliation processes
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

Problem Resolution

• Investigate customer complaints and service issues
• Document customer interactions within CRM and ERP systems
• Coordinate solutions with internal departments
• Follow up with customers regarding resolutions and corrective actions
• Ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently and professionally

Preferred Experience

• Order entry or order management experience
• Customer service or account support experience
• Inventory management experience
• Freight scheduling or logistics coordination experience
• Experience with CRM, ERP, or inventory management systems
• Reconciliation and administrative support experience
