Customer Service Rep - Remote

Duration:-Contract to Hire
Location – Los Angeles, CA – Remote
Work Arrangement: Remote, with onsite reporting required when needed

Key Responsibilities
Handle 75+ inbound calls per day and after-hours provider calls.
Serve as the primary point of contact for access to academic medical centers and Health Sciences Campus.
Answer, screen, and direct calls, electronic messages, and web-based communications.
Respond to basic inquiries and route complex questions to appropriate medical personnel.
Communicate messages through text, voice, email, and other electronic systems.
Schedule and confirm initial and follow-up medical appointments as needed.
Maintain professionalism and accuracy in a high-volume call-center environment.
 
Shift Requirements
This is a rotating-shift position. Candidates must be flexible and available to work any shift, Sunday through Saturday, including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 coverage as scheduled.
Common shifts include:
11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Weekend and holiday shifts follow the same structure. Employees scheduled on weekends will receive two days off during the week.
Important: Candidates must be comfortable working varied/rotating schedules and should understand that their shift may change based on business needs.
 
Onsite Reporting Requirements
Although this is primarily a remote position, candidates must be able to report onsite promptly when required, including for:

• Equipment pickup on the first day
• Training sessions
• Performance coaching or corrective action
• Internet or power outages
• Equipment troubleshooting/replacement
• Department meetings
• Other business needs
• Training: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, onsite on the first day.
