Customer Service Account Manager | Lenexa, KS

LHH is partnering with a technology & financial institution who is seeking a Customer Service & Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of valued customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, solving problems, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple accounts while collaborating with internal teams to ensure high levels of service and client satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
• Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage customer orders, account updates, and service-related issues.
• Partner with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and issue resolution.
• Monitor account activity and proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer records within CRM and ERP systems.
• Prepare customer reports, proposals, and account updates as needed.
• Support account retention efforts and identify opportunities for account growth.
• Escalate complex issues when necessary while ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of customer service, account management, client services, or related experience.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, customer-focused mindset with a consultative approach.
• Experience supporting business-to-business (B2B) customers.
• Familiarity with order processing, account management, or service coordination.
• Previous experience working in manufacturing, distribution, professional services, or a relationship-driven environment.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
