About Us

Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. Location

Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campusis located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.

Job Summary

The customer service representative will perform various job duties as requested by the department. These range from greeting the customers to answering the phone.

Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • The position requires a person with a pleasing "customer service"-oriented personality.
  • The candidate should be at ease with technology such as computers, copiers, iPads, and
    printers.
  • Ability and desire to assist others are a must.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or office environment is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled as an Albany State University student.
  • Must have a pleasant personality.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
    Monday through Friday.
  • Must be able to operate a iPad, printer or other electronic devices
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with student
  • Must be able to demonstrate active listening skills enable to troubleshoot
    students' needs.
  • Qualified candidates are required to interview
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in retail, fast food, or other customer service-related industry positions.
