Job will be primarily based in the DynaStore giftshop, with additional training in DynaTheater and the Membership Desk. All areas require ahigh level of professionalism and customer service.Specific Duties include:Dyna StoreDemonstrates a welcoming customer focused environment by greeting customers,responding to questions, and improving customer engagementProvides excellent customer service - recommend merchandise on the floor and atthe registerAccurately uses point of sale systemBalances cash drawers for both open and closing shiftsRestocking and pricing merchandise as directedIntroduces promotions and opportunities to customersMaintain tidiness of the store dailyDirect and sell memberships to customers as neededWork in a team environment to assist with other projects and tasks as needed orassignedMembership DeskDeliver high quality customer serviceProvide services and answer questions to current membersSell memberships to potential Museum visitorsInform members and visitors of current Museum eventsStrives to maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services available at theMuseum, Planetarium, DynaTheater, NatureWorks, Foundation, and CafeSell admissions to members and Museum visitorsBalances cash drawers for both open and closing shiftsAssist Foundation sta with upcoming events and projectsDynaTheaterEiciently open the theatre at the start of shift and close at the end of dayOperates projection system equipment to project all movies, lectures, specialevents, etc.Maintain cleanliness of the theater and operating room dailyDistributes, collects, washes and dries 3-D glasses.Seats guests, school groups and make all necessary announcements before showstarts as well as assist handicapped guests with entry, seating, etc.Notifies the Theater Manager immediately of any facility problems or complaints,Handles high level technical problems quickly and eiciently, includingcommunicating to the audience, the procedure that will follow.
