Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their personal insurance needs, including home, auto, and umbrella policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, processing policy changes, and resolving issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Review existing policies to ensure clients have appropriate coverage and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling relevant products.
- Assist clients in the claims process, offering guidance and support through every step.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
- Stay informed about new insurance products, industry trends, and state regulations to better serve clients.
Requirements
Requirements
- 2 years previous experience in personal lines insurance, customer service or account management preferred.
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products, including home, auto, umbrella, and related coverages.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment.
- Proficiency with agency management systems, carrier websites, and standard office software.
- Active Maryland Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
