- Salary: $41,000–$50,000 per year
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders accurately and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- Coordinate freight arrangements and communicate delivery schedules to customers
- Communicate with customers by phone and in person to answer questions, provide product/service information, take orders, and address concerns
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, complaints, and comments
- Research and resolve customer service or billing issues in a timely and professional manner
- Escalate unresolved customer concerns to the appropriate department for further review
- Review insurance policy terms to determine coverage for specific losses
- Review claim adjustments with dealers and evaluate parts claimed to be defective
- Approve or deny dealer claims based on established guidelines
- Compare disputed merchandise against original requisitions and invoices
- Coordinate with Accounting to process invoices or credits for returned merchandise
- Provide a high level of customer service while building strong, lasting customer relationships
Preferred Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative:
- 1–2+ years of customer service, order processing, administrative, or related experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
