Joseph W. McCartin Insurance, Inc. is a full-service independent insurance agency with a team of 25+ agents. We are seeking a licensed team member to help support our Life & Health department 25 hours per week.

We provide comprehensive trainingyou bring a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to helping clients. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.

This role requires 3 days in office and 2 days WFH. 25 hours total.

Potential for full-time position in the future.

Salary Range: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Support clients with coverage changes and service requests

Review applications and enrollment forms for accuracy and completeness; submit to carriers with appropriate documentation

Order requirements (e.g., medical exams) for new insurance applicants

Gather client information and prepare quotes using agency systems

Assist with coordinating group health insurance renewals

Prioritize tasks and manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate processing

Maintain organized electronic files in accordance with agency standards

Uphold a high level of professionalism in all interactions


Requirements

Qualifications

Life & Health insurance license required

2+ years of insurance experience preferred

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Officeespecially Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-through

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
