Customer Service Representative (Benefits Focused)

An established benefits administration organization is seeking an Applicant Services Representative to assist participants with pension and benefit applications and verification processes.

• Review and validate documentation for benefit processing
• Process applications, status requests, and verification efficiently
• Calculate pension and benefit amounts based on eligibility
• Communicate with participants via phone or written correspondence
• Research work history and Social Security details when needed
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Prepare files for approval or rejection based on criteria
• Recalculate benefits with additional service credits and handle retroactive payments
• Support the contact center as backup

  Qualifications include 2+ years in benefits or pensions, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills. The role pays $25-$30 per hour.
