JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative                                       CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, non-exempt
REPORTS TO: General Manager
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for carrying out all customer service activities and handles any and all inbound and outbound orders in a manner which adheres to company procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and safely lift, turn, position and transfer product accordingly
  • Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must have a satisfactory background check
  • Must comply with OSHA and SDS Standards
  • Must have the flexibility to work any shift required by customer and business needs
  • 1-2 years customer service experience, preferred
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience, preferred
  • Must possess the appropriate computer experience (i.e. Microsoft Office, SAP, WMS)
  • Ability to multitask and work in an organized manner
RESPSONSIBLITIES:
  • Processes and inputs all customer orders including inbound and outbound orders
  • Generates all paperwork and applicable information for customer work orders
  • Keeps customers inventory current and accurate
  • Coordinates special, last minute shipping requests
  • Traces orders as required and notifies customers of any activity concerns
  • Sends completed bills of lading to customers within 24 hours of receipt or shipment
  • Maintains damage reports and communicates to the customers as needed
  • Responsible for timely customer daily, weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly billing
  • Maintains a good working relationship with internal and external customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments and inventory counts
  • Act in a manner that promotes teamwork by assisting the clerical department when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
The salary range for this position is $18-$19.50 per hour.
